Industry

Every kind of device, one front door.

Campuses have the widest device mix of any sector: personal laptops, labs, shared machines, visiting researchers. ZERA gives all of them one branded Workspace, with research systems and administrative applications visible only to the groups that should see them.

Context

What this sector has to answer for

Student and staff personal data falls under data protection law; research data often carries its own conditions. Residency and per-group access answer both.

The device estate cannot be managed end to end. The agentless path, with attested browsers for the applications that warrant it, is the realistic model.

Institutions have strong identities of their own. The Workspace on the institution's preset and domain makes access feel like the institution, not like a vendor.

Deployment

Where it should run

  • Inlinea Cloud, in your regionSingle-tenant, hosted in the region you choose.
  • On-premisesFor institutions with their own data center and team.
  • Dedicated sovereign environmentFor multi-campus groups that want a named city.

Questions buyers ask

Can students use it without installing anything?
Yes. The Workspace opens in any browser. Only applications you mark as requiring an attested browser ask for the extension.
Can partner institutions' people sign in?
Yes. Multiple identity providers can sign people in; groups and rules decide what each sees.
